How to Get Long-Lasting Tyre Shine That Doesn't Sling
Tyre dressing that flings onto your paint or fades in a day is usually an application problem. Here's the fix.

Clean first — always
Dressing applied over brown, oxidised rubber never lasts. Scrub the sidewalls with soapy water and a brush, rinse and let them dry completely so the dressing can bond to clean rubber.
Apply thin, even coats
Put a small amount of tyre shine on a foam applicator pad and work it evenly around the sidewall. Thin layers bond better and won't sling onto your paint when you drive off.
Let it cure
Allow several minutes of cure time before driving. Wipe any excess with a microfiber cloth. For a deeper, wet-look gloss apply a second thin coat after the first sets.
Maintain after each wash
Reapply after every wash for a consistent satin-to-gloss finish. Clean rubber plus thin coats is the secret to dressing that lasts a week or more.
